Day 227: Star Lite, Star Brite

Last night, I had to run out with my son to get some plain t-shirts that he needed for soccer tryouts (which, by the way, start at 6 am). Since the cheapest place to get plain t-shirts is Michaels, that is where we headed. As we were getting ready to check out, I saw a pocket size Glow Art toy – basically a knock off Lite Brite. I had been thinking that it might be fun to do a project using a Lite Brite, so I picked it up.

I mentioned that we are in the midst of 6 a.m. soccer tryouts for my son. Well between the craziness of getting a high schooler up and out the door before 6 in the morning, I decided to play around with my new toy. I didn’t have a lot of time, so I went with something simple – a star fish. Obviously, I was constrained by the size and the location of the holes for the pegs, but I don’t think it turned out half bad.
